What's happening with your business?

On your dashboard is a field where you can type what's happening with your business at the moment. These status updates will appear in you contact's latest activity feed so that they can see what's happening with your business at any time.
It's a great way to highlight what's happening with your business without having to phone or email all of your contacts. Your status updates could be anything from an up-coming sale to your factory closing down for Christmas.

A new page called the dashboard has been created to help you manage your business. It's a place where you can quickly jump to the most important pages used for managing your business.
It's now the main page you'll see when you log in to SimpleAs.

Different price for each customer

It is often the case that a product may have a different price for each customer. This is important for manufactures/wholesalers who sell products at different prices depending on the customer.
We have catered to this need by creating a new tab on the update item page where you can set a different price for each of your customers which are allowed to view the product group.
Once you set a price for a customer, the customer will see that price when they view the product details and/or purchase the product. They can't see any other prices you've set for other customers.

Sharing your products

To make it easy to share the details of your products we added a new tab to the products details page called 'Share'.
This allows you to enter the business contacts you would like to share the product group with.
If you would like to share the product group with a business not currently in your contact list, simply enter the email address of the business and press enter. You can share the product group with as many contacts as you like.

Shopping carts

We have built a shopping cart system which is based around selling your products using purchase order numbers.
This is aimed towards wholesalers, manufactures and any other business who purchase and sell goods and services using a purchase order number.
Having a shopping cart is automatically enabled for all businesses registered with SimpleAs. To start selling your goods and services, all you need to do is sign in/register with SimpleAs and start adding your products.

We've made it easy to see what's been happening with your contacts by creating a latest activity feed. All important events and notifications related to your business will be listed here.
It's a quick and easy way to keep updated with everything that's been going on with your business and your contacts. If an event is important or urgent you will also receive an email automatically with the details of the notification.

Product group security

In continuing our direction of making SimpleAs a product mangement tool for businesses, we have added some security features to product groups.
Each of your product groups can now have a status of either public or private. If a product group is public, anyone can see it and if you have a product catalog on your website it will automtacilly show all public product groups.
If a product group is private you can select which of your business contacts (customer/suppliers) can view the items and/or make purchases.

New SimpleAs design

We have redesigned the SimpleAs site to give it a more modern user-friendly look and feel.
Navigating around the site is now easier thanks to a new sub-navigation menu bar. This new menu bar sits beneath the main tabs and will change depending on the area of the site you are in.
